Boston is a world-class city.  Together, the people of Greater Boston can do anything we put our minds to — and that’s why it is incredibly important that we put our minds to the right things.  No Boston Olympics is a group of volunteer Bostonians who think there are better ways to invest public resources than throwing a three-week party for the global elite, while hard-working citizens foot the bill.  We respect and appreciate the desire of Olympic-boosters to want to show off our gem of a city to the world, but Boston is already the City of Champions — we don’t need to submit a bid in the world’s most expensive auction to prove that to anyone.  Let’s return our civic conversation back to the ideas that have made Massachusetts great and will continue to make it great for decades to come — improving our schools, investing in our core transportation infrastructure, and generating the ideas and companies that will create long-term jobs.
